In 1995, Eric opened the Open Window at AS220 with this Video Installation. For years, Eric was picking up televisions out of the garbage and repairing and retuning them to display images in non-traditional ways. This installation was made up entirely of salvaged TVs. They were stacked 8 feet high in a display window, half pointing in, half pointing out. Some were showing video loops that Eric had made, others were tuned to stations, displaying them skewed sideways; in slow rolls; in hyper-intense colors and/or blips.
