VVA CAR SHOW, AUBURN, ME.
We had a reservation, but Range Pond Campground  overbooked. After I made a stink, they put us behind a shed in this nasty limestone sand for free. Thanks.  We were not returning there, so we got out the map and  spent the following night at Allen Pond campground. The owner is nice, the lake is amazing and check out that minature golf!
A mystery campground somewhere between  Vermont and RI. We had just gotten the full length roof rack. What  I recall most about this campground was that after settling in, we realized that we were in the aproach path of an airport right next door! Thankfully, they stopped at dusk.
On our way to Lake Placid, we visited the Pedaling History Bicycle Museum near Niagra.  This museum has a wonderful collection from early to modern.
I still don't understand how a 3-speed hub works, but I got to see all of it's little components. And- check out those battle bikes!
We went and checked out the Falls, then off to Lake Placid. This was a very small but wonderful show. The camping was great, and we really enjoyed the stream along the road between the camp and the show.
This minty bus was our favorite at the show.
CAMP-A-TOASTER
We would like to take a moment to sing the praises of the Camp-A-Toaster of Pawtucket, RI. Being true lovers of toast, it helped make many a breakfast just that much more wonderful. The next time you must purchase a toaster for camping, we suggest you select this one. It also does pop-tarts very nicely.
